Dan Schien is a computer scientist researching questions of sustainability of ICT using methods of human computing interaction, software engineering and life cycle assessment. Putting emphasis on impact, Dan has worked with many international media organisations, helping them understand and address the sustainability of their services. He contributed to the development of standards and published his results in leading academic journals and conferences.
